Gouache Paintings
I use gouache paint for my standard pet paintings. Its described as being "in-between watercolour and acrylic paints" and allows me to easily build up colourful layers.
These are done onto paper only, as the paint cracks on canvas overtime.
Oil Pastels & Mixed Media
This is a fun style I use for quicker artworks. They are roughly drawn with oil pastels, then detail is added with acrylic markers and paint sticks.
These can be on paper or canvas and have a lot of visible texture.
